DO YOU NEED TO REGISTER? If you are a new resident of Hollywood, of if you moved since the last election, or have never registered to vote, you must do so prior to the election. Registration forms are available on line, www.browardsoe.com.

Down load the forms and return them by mail. OR, the Supervisor of Elections maintains an office at the Courthouse in Hollywood, 3500 Hollywood Blvd. You can pick up and sign forms at that location. If you have any questions, call 954-357-7050.

By the way, you cannot obtain your Homestead Exemption without a voter registration card. These forms can also be obtained at the Courthouse.

WHAT ABOUT ABSENTEE BALLOTS? You can call 954-357-7055 and the ballots will be sent to you. If you have children away at school, have absentee ballots sent to them also. Every vote counts.

WHERE DO I VOTE? Assuming you don't vote absentee, you will most likely vote at the usual polling place in your precinct. There may be some changes, however, so you should check with the Supervisor of Elections to confirm your polling place.
